Today is Martin Luther King, Jr. Day!
On this day, we remember the Civil Rights activist and leader and his campaigns to end racial segregation in American society. In 1983, 15 years after his assassination, legislation was passed that marked the birthday of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. as a federal holiday. Congress then designated the federal holiday as a national day of service in 1994. His strides toward equality continue to affect our lives and world today.
Our office will close Monday, January 20th and will re-open Tuesday, January 21st.
